As my family of six embarked on a 3-week family camping trip to New Mexico (including Kansas, Colorato, Illinois, Indiana and Missouri), we heard that our home-town Tim Hortons (in Frankenmuth, MI) was giving away Blueberry Donuts as a promotion. Of course we had to stop and try some...and they were so good that they were gone in moments. Even my 18 year old son, who would never normally come within five feet of a blueberry, loved them! From then on, our three-week road trip was inundated with "when can we have more blueberry donuts?" over and over from the children in the back seat. Our trip included a futile search for another Tim Hortons--but none was to be found, and we had endure "blueberry donut deprivation" until we returned to Michigan. Yes, we now suffer from "Blueberry Donut Obsession"... but it's a sweet ailment indeed!
